Effective date: January 1, 2026. Applies to all services provided by Richland Insulation and to use of richlandinsulation.com.
By using the Richland Insulation website at richlandinsulation.com (the "Site") or by engaging Richland Insulation for insulation services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site or engage our services. These terms apply to all visitors to the Site and to all customers who receive services from Richland Insulation.
Richland Insulation is a licensed insulation contractor operating in Richland, WA and surrounding communities. We provide residential and commercial insulation installation, removal, and related services including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, vapor barrier installation, and air sealing services. The Site provides information about our services and a way to request estimates. It does not constitute a binding service agreement until a written estimate is signed by both parties.
All estimates provided by Richland Insulation are free of charge and based on a physical inspection of the property. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise noted. Estimates are based on conditions observed during the inspection. If conditions differ from those observed - for example, concealed damage, pest infestation, or moisture issues not visible at the time of inspection - the scope and price may need to be adjusted. We will notify you before proceeding with any changes that affect your final cost.
Prices listed on the Site, if any, are for general reference only and do not represent a firm quote for your specific project. Only a written estimate signed by an authorized representative of Richland Insulation constitutes a binding price agreement.
Scheduling is confirmed once both parties have signed the written estimate and any required deposit has been received. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases and work with you to find an alternative time.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, please give us at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover materials and labor reserved for your project. Any paid deposits are non-refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of a confirmed start date, unless Richland Insulation initiated the cancellation.
Payment terms are outlined in your written estimate and may include a deposit due before work begins and a final balance due upon project completion. We accept payment by check, bank transfer, or other methods specified in the estimate. Payment is due within the timeframe stated in the estimate.
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. Richland Insulation reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for accounts with outstanding overdue balances.
To allow us to perform the work safely and effectively, you agree to:
Richland Insulation warrants that all insulation work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Any warranty on materials is provided by the manufacturer and is subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.
Our workmanship warranty covers defects in installation attributable to our crew for a period of one year from the date of project completion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by water intrusion, pest activity, structural movement, alterations made by others, or normal wear.
Except as stated above, all services are provided "as is" and Richland Insulation makes no other express or implied warranties, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or of merchantability.
